Hmmm, not to be that guy but honestly how many people can and are able to avoid taxation? Maybe one in 1000, that's how rare that is. Even if you could avoid some parts, you will save mere percentages. No way that the lower tax income can be attributed to that. 20%? That's way too much.
Private sector spending is still incredibly high and people have started to borrow again (in large amounts). Just check out M2.
I dunno, it seems weird that employment keeps rising according to the statistics, and wages are also following suit (of course not matching inflation but still...), but taxes are somehow lower?
