>Having 8 BTC won't mean much if your house is being repossessed
It does. At least the jews can not repossess your crypto if it's on your own pseudonymous wallet.

It protects your assets against laws, taxes, confiscation and shit.

Open futures trading account @Okcoin.
Found account with BTC (don't know if you can also use Fiat). They will give you up to 20 to 1 leverage shorting BTC futures. Probably also possible at other players like Bitmex etc.

Not sure how the current situation is. I got burned and lost 37% of my money shorting BTC last Christmas.

>Ethereum buy support has never been this low for a long time
This is true for many coins.
reasons are:
BTC fork
BTC-e debacle
To keep large amounts of BTC on exchange for buy support requires big balls now. This results in less market depth and potentially more volatility.

Okay gentlemen, I'm in need of assistance. I've been in the crypto game for a while and now it's time for me to move onto my next venture: mining.

I have done some general googling/research to put my feet in the water, but there are so many different mining rigs as well as the differing hardware that they use (and mining software). I'm also seeing actually zero radeon card options since the 400/500 cards are sold out everywhere.

So if you guys wouldn't mind helping a bizbro out I have a few questions. My budget is between $8,000-$10,000.

> What GPU's have a decent enough hash/price ratio. I know the radeon cards do work on the hashing side of the game. Will 1070s do? Is it THAT much more of a jump to a 1080? I just want the best performance I can get out of this without having to buy Titan's :P
>What's the most common motherboard I should use? I'm aware ith as to have 6 PCIe slots, any specific brand that people go with? Or is that badboy sold out alongside the 480s
>Suggested CPU/RAM?
>I want to mine ETH and LTC, best software for these two?
>I work in the computer field so hardware is not an issue whatsoever, but are there any great ELI5/DIY videos on setting up a solid rig with multiple mobos/gpus? I'm gonna do some more digging on this realm, but figured I should get the hardware together first before mapping out my schematics.
>Any other tips/suggestions/comments/concerns/criticisms are much appreciated.

If this goes according to plan I'd love to give back to the community for helping me over the last year, you guys are seriously the best. Thanks again for all of your help, hope to get some solid feedback from you guys.
