If inflation is still a concern at all, they need to capitalize on this strength and hike rates by no less than 50 basis points going forward. They could get away with a 100 basis point hike and it would only drop markets to where we were a week or two ago (if that) before firming up and climbing anyway. The Fed is basically getting tossed a pitch that they could slam out of the park. As long as the markets are performing like this, there is zero reason inflation should be a concern because the markets can absorb practically any measures right now to combat it. The Fed had their work cut out for them, but this is legitimately easy mode for them now.
