Well, while my metals and miners have been making slow and steady gains, my younger brother has been raking in fat piles of filthy lucre thanks to the exploding popularity of the "Flesh and Blood" CCG. I have experience and helped him figure out how to buy 56 alpha print booster boxes of the first "Welcome to Rathe" set (14 booster cases of 4 boxes each) from Taiwan for just under $100 per booster box. They were worth $400 or so per box at that time, just 7 or 8 weeks ago, and already single booster boxes are selling for $2,300-2,800 EACH on eBay, it's absolutely disgusting. He also loaded up on cases of other alpha prints of subsequent sets now worth $800-1,000 per box and several full sets of cold foil cards, with numerous cards worth thousands each, one single card approaching 10k. He's rolling in dough, multiplied his investment over 20x in less than 2 months. i quit my job 6 months ago because i felt comfortable with where my portfolio was going. i'm still in a good spot with this dumping (even if we go 50% down more from here), but i just got an offer to work at a decent place at a decent wage.
i've done nothing with my free time but play video games and alienate the people around me. should i go back into the wage cage?
