There is finite space. As the population grows larger, the value of the individual diminishes. Look at how suburban homes were zoned 40 years ago here in canada. To how they are zoned now. Space gets lesser and lesser. There is no reason to not think that how land is divied will DECREASE as population INCREASES. The earlier you become a land owner will ALWAYS be more advantageous than the person who comes after you. A doctor and a vet could become a land owner today. In 50 years? The doctor will likely be able to become a land owner, not the vet. In 125 years? The doctor won't be able to become a land owner. You will have to operate a large business to become a land owner. Because there is finite space, and the population will always grow. There will ALWAYS be more people who HAVE to compete HARDER in order to preserve/increase the purchasing power they have.
