Just dumped another $100 into my forex account, got another batch of trades ready to go. Didn't realize aluminium and lead have such retarded spreads, might just stick to copper/gold/silver in the future, but hopefully the trend works the way I think it will.

Another instance of the Cantillon Effect imo. While it describes the effect that being closer to the money supply gives you better advantages (think banker or politician vs the average worker), I think it also counts for timing the market, since they have an uncanny ability to call the top and winners ahead of time.
I forget the exact year and currency pair, but I want to say it was the CHF/EUR that were pegged together and there was a price floor. Banks decided to put political pressure and remove the floor and price immediately dropped like 10000 pips for a day or two, or something like that
