Nobody is "hiding from taxes" with an LLC. Corperations are taxed at different rates than individuals, so owning a company that holds your shares means paying ~12% instead of ~50% when you file. I also mentioned this in the previous thread, but the main purpose of the LLC is to have a structure that will let me directly employ lawyers, security, property managers, etc. Part of that is going to be employing my family members and giving them no-limit cards to do whatever they want while charging it as a business expense. This is also for tax reasons, since you get heavily taxed on all "gift money" after you exceed the $12million lifetime limit that the government set in place to fuck up family farms. The other big reason is that getting sued while you do everything through an LLC means that they will likely be suing the company instead of you, which means that you aren't going to be personally liable even if it doesn't go your way.

The other big caveat is that I'm a gainfully employed wage slave who could afford to pay $800 to make one before MOASS. I took the time to research the pros and cons, did a value judgment, and decided that this was something I wanted to do because the benefits outweighed the costs. Frankly, all this counter signaling reminds me of the anti-DRS shills who wouldn't shut up about "missing the MOASS because it would take too long to sell".
