Alright, let's do some math for the spectators.

I'm going to use some real generous math, assuming that you buy and sell under some currently practical, yet extremely lucky conditions.

If you sold that 10k stack at our recent crabbing-high of about $2.50, you'd have $25k. Then you wait for it to drop to, say, $1.70, and sell. You'd have 14.7k GRT. Sell again at $2.50. The crabbing continues and you keep perfectly nailing the highs and lows. To ease calculating, this means that every buy/sell pair you'd multiply your GRT stack by 1.4706.

To get your 10k stack to 100k, under those ideal crabbing conditions, you would need to buy/sell 6 times each. If you think you can, go for it. I don't specifically condone or condemn swinging versus delegating, at the end of the day, I just discourage the high risk of the former. All it takes is one mistake to offset you a lot of progress!
