Just tested the reddit bot and it works, it does a search every 24 hours for stock tickers/keywords across any subreddits you want and then messages you a report containing the date of the search and a list of the keywords with how many times they were mentioned in descending order, i can set it to eliminate any stocks that don't meet a minimum number of mentions and even create a subreddit where it will scrape all the comments with the keywords in them and then dump the comments there to be read, if it scrapes comments it will post a link in the report message it sends you for each stock ticker so i can go through and see what all those dumb niggers are saying about any of the meme stocks. now i just have to figure out how to graph the data over time to show increasing and decreasing retail investor interest in various stocks, hell i could set this thing to scrape DD posts from subreddits to peruse at my leisure with 0 effort. adding all the stock tickers to the bots keyword search is going to be a bitch though since there is thousands of them.
