Bro and the worst part is that the patent laws are very very rarely used to help the basement inventor and most of the time they are used to create monopolies for corporations that are already established. Basically patent law is so fucking abstract that whoever has the "better" (more weasily and dishonest) lawyers wins the patent laws. Patent courts are infamous for basing their deciions on abstract ideas and subjective opinions... no matter what it is a subjective opinion anyway what distinguishes something as an individual design vs something similar but different vs a copy but not quite a copy. It's just subjectivism.. and whoever has the connections, bribes, and lawyers wins. Absolutely bullshit 100 percent.
