>unknown mystery creator
Why do we gloss over this so easily?
Why do we trust this person and the Core dev team to keep our best interests in mind?

Checked and I think you're right. Aside from half the trading volume being paper /BTC futures, the real risk comes from falling for the narrative. Not at all suspicious that bitcoin has an unknown mystery creator? We trust the Core devs enough to call it decentralized? *All other crypto being explicitly centralized or easily controlled by dominant miners.

The crypto narrative is smart because it attracts people who would otherwise be hostile towards the Great Reset type of shit, and contains us for an easy rugpull.
