i miss having a gf. the gentle touch of a caring woman. ah yes those were the days, those were the days. you wouldnt get it. seeing her smile, a genuine expression of happiness, her laugh. the subtle seemingly insignificant feeling of knowing that perhaps this person is happy while in your presence.

I'm not against putting in effort in life. I'm a very motivated and hardworking person. I'm on the 2nd round interview for a job that I'll pretty much get so long as I do a few tasks for the employer (writing a small article, easy and quick to do).

But for the life of me I just don't give a fuck about it. The general sentiment from everyone around me is 'well nobody likes to work' and that seems to be the end of the conversation.

But why the FUCK should I care? I know I won't be happy even if I get the job, earning about 24k (which is a lot to me sadly).

I don't have a GF (got dumped a few months ago), my country is fucked beyond belief (UK), and generally I'm just sitting around feeling depressed all the time.

What is the fucking point?

I haven’t ever felt that I had an advantage in life, or luck for that matter. I am sure absolutely sure that if I could make like 90k, that I could easily easily lift off and put dreams and plans of growth into motion, I just don’t know how or where to catch the break that I need to. That saying of “crawl, walk, then run” but I feel that I have been crawling for years with no let up. And I’m only 28.

Any ideas or advice to point me in the right direction?

Been holding UVXY (5x leverage) for about two weeks, now only matching where we were about a week ago.
Was very unsure that my position would survive CPI, but turns out the Cleveland fed and fundamentals were correct.
