Most people probably don't learn better alone, no. But this will make it clear to some kids that they are really autodidacts. Nothing will be more dangerous to the system than an entire cadre of students who learned first hand that their 'educators' are the dumbest holders of 4 year degrees available. That's not a joke by the way. Elementary and middle schoold teachers are consistently one of the lowest IQ degree holding demographics.

Consider the lack of trust in the system this is going to breed, and the amount of trust in the kids' natural ability it will foster in them. Not in their mouth breathing peers, but in the kids that really could hack it.
