I long and short depending on the stock. But it's been mostly shorting recently as I can't find anything to long. I trade options with 20% of my portfolio and put most of the profits into VOO. I might put my profits into TQQQ and UPRO when their underlying breaks the 200 SMA, but that could take a while.

1. Keep your spreads simple
2. Don't buy low liquidity
3. Don't sell what you don't own
4. Make sure sure your strategy is profitable before using options for added leverage
5. Don't buy OTM unless it's part of a spread
6. Always trade at the mark, not bid or ask
