You bring up some good points I guess. My problem is that it's so aspirational that I don't really know what the point in discussing it is. In the real world the economy works in a certain way. Inflation is an inherent attribute of economic growth. We should use regulations and policy (including the Central Bank) to remedy what capitalism gets wrong and to boost what it gets right. But you're talking about taking us back to the middle ages.

Let me put it like this: It's like you have a chair, but one leg is a bit too short. Do you add a small piece under the dysfunctional leg or do you saw them all down so there's slightly less chair left?
