Again i submit that these same countries had 80% of the oil production before they called themselves BRICS+ (or collection of autocrats and oligarchs, as i call them).
Again i submit that OPEC (or collection of autocrats and oligarchs, as i call them) tried to squeeze the liberal democracies before, it didn't work then, it wont now.

Poland went from serfdom to industrial power in 15 years.
Germany went from serfdom to industrial power in 15 years.
Japan went from serfdom to industrial power in 15 years.
China had 80 years and still has a laughable per capita GDP.

The reason? Liberal democracy vs autocracy. Freedom vs serfdom. Free market economy vs oligarchic/autocratic planning.
