30 years old just working part-time as a retail wagie for peanuts (live w/ parents)

even working part-time feels like too much

i have a degree but it's a meme liberal arts degree; haven't even bothered applying to other jobs after graduating

i wish i could go back 10 years and put more effort into getting neetbux (i had thought about trying for it since i have diagnosed depression but was too lazy to even bother)

never read it but the whole "superfluous man" theory does resonate with me quite a bit; i'm not a millionaire but my basic needs have always been taken care of and my parents put very, very little pressure on me to do anything in particular (I have a college degree but never applied for any jobs after graduating; it's also a liberal arts meme degree)

i feel like i would rather die than work hard at anything (but I don't want to commit suicide); i fantasize about going to sleep and not waking up

same shit i do now: sleep through most of the day, eat junk food, masturbate to futa, shitpost relentlessly, play some random steam game in my backlog for a bit, read some comfy speculative fiction before drifting off to sleep, and repeat

i'd just do it while feeling more secure about my ability to keep doing it, which would be great

i just want to go to sleep and dream surreal dreams forever
