Yeah, I think people aren't taking this seriously enough. The IRS's job has been to keep normal people from making real money by any means possible. You pay your taxes, and they wring you for everything you're worth and leave you with a pittance. You don't pay your taxes, even fully renouncing your citizenship and immigrating somewhere else? The IRS will STILL come after you if they can come up with a reason. Esepcially if you're making your millions via crypto, which they now view as a tool of dissident movements. Only the CIA is allowed to fund terrorism, and only Jeff Bezos is allowed to pay no taxes. Sure they've been lazy in the past because they got a decently hefty sum and didn't really understand it, but now they're enforcing it harder and have a greater understanding of how to fuck you. I think we all need to be a little more wary of what we say or do. The USG's no. 1 priority is keeping us poor and in chains.
