Here is how I do it
- check recently released on coingecko every two hours
- check if it's on uniswap or pancakeswap
- check if it has a good shilling on biz in the archives
- check dextools to see if there is no previous mooning and dumping
- also try to find if it didn't had any private sale shenanigans
- also use dextools to see that I am not buying the top of the chart currently

if all of the above check out, I throw on eth or two at it, you are good you see results in few days if not hours at least
pancacke swap listings have a tendency to moon disgustingly at the start and then dump
