Anon's right. When there are two (or more, as we've had recently) threads going, conversations get broken up and there's a bigger hassle in Ctrl-Fing for topics and posts you recall from before. New threads really shouldn't be made until the current one gets to about page 8. Then we appreciate the new thread. Some exceptions are when the image limit gets reached. Then yeah, a new thread would be good.

The much bigger question is, why are you so slap-happy about making threads? You don't get points, trophies, recognition, fame, respect, or anything of value for creating threads. You're doing it for free, just like... jannies.
