MANA is an ERC20 token, which means that it is still tied to the antiquated ethereum chain, with high Gas fees. This also means that NFTs (world's and characters) on the MANA network are actually owned by Jeff Bezos. ICP's cubetopia has offered up a real alternative to the MANA world. however, there has been some recent FUD about ICP's NFTS vanishing because of canisters not being refilled.
