Shills for this one have been heavy here over the last week. These posts started to grab my attention and I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qU8-uQfKPo&t=3s

This guy is Anders Larsson, and he played a key role in developing the tech that lead to de adoption and predominance of 2G, 3G and 4G mobile data protocols.

After seeing the video it was clear to me that something new is being broght to the table: algorithm mint & burn systems are the only way to garantee that a currency/asset is ALWAYS redeemable. I had never looked from this perspective, but this is actually a big thing if you think about of what problems this instantly solves.

Then I found out that although Haven have originated this idea almost 3 years ago, it has already been copied by many projetcs. So what makes Haven special? To me is the fact that it is the only that accomplished to implement this algorithmic mint & burn idea in a fully private - monero based - ecossystem. Things started to get spicy there. Why? One of the most, if not the most important aspect of money is fungibility. And the only way to garantee that digital asssets are really fungible is making sure that their transaction history is unknown, just like cash is. This is why Monero is so important for the future. However, the high volatility inherent of crypto markets is another aspect that makes crypto not really fungible. Who would want to be paid in a currency that can lose 20% of its value overnight? Not many other than us degenerates. And then things started to get clear to me: Haven is the only project in the entire space that managed to solve these two problems: the volatility problem, by making it possible to mint xUSD algorithmically pegged to the USD, and the privacy problem, making it the first actual potentially fungible crypto currency by nature.

Since then I'm spending lots of evergy thiking of where can this go and I'm starting to obsses because its mind blowing.

DYOR.
