Having said that and speaking of retarded options trades, I opened this diagonal calendar on SPY, which I plan to close on October 12. But I don't know if I'm long or short and whether I would be buying or selling. I can math out the stuff on a P&L sheet no problem but my broker order entry just fucking confuses me
