McDonalds tried to bilk the poorest for more money. They raised the McDouble over and over and over. Then they decided to start jacking the price of fries up too.

Large fry, 4.25, 4.50, 5 dollars etc. You know how much a potato and a half costs, not 5 dollars. Not even 1. This is pure profit.

They tried to raise fry prices despite the cost of fries being almost nothing and people stopped ordering fries.

McDonalds purposely stopped you buying Mcdoubles, or fries. They did this to force people into buying Big Macs, Quarter Pounders and combos. None of which people actually want.

People started buying JUST the sandwich, because fries are overpriced, despite the fries being one of their favorite things to order. Now they cant afford it, now every trip to McDonalds is a reminder youre poor and your life is shit. And that youre being charged 5 dollars for 18 cents in fries and 12 cents in oil.

So whats next, jack up the burger prices. Jack em up jack em up, 5 dollar mac 8 dollar mac 11 dollar mac 18 dollar mac. Guess what, nobodies buying Macs. They cant afford the burger price they had because they made fries unattainable.

Within the institution of McDonalds itself, only contained to that company, they are experiencing McDonFlation. Theyre learning what happens when you price people out of fries and try to make up the money you used to make from fries off just the burgers. TLDR nobody buys any fries, nobody buys any burgers.
