These responses are exactly what’s wrong with the LUNC community
Someone suggests sacrifice-burning as a collective to replace the unnecessary, unproductive greed that’s been happening.....and the conversation immediately turns into a dick-measuring contest over which individual burned how many LUNC
If you’re not larping and you really did burn 5 million LUNC, great. I’m not interested in “proving” how much I burned, but let’s say for the sake of argument that I didn’t burn any LUNC at all. Are you gonna suddenly regret your burns then? Are you gonna avoid burning in the future? Would that even really invalidate the points that I made? What difference would that make?
While me and you are dick-measuring over LUNC burns that barely dent the supply on our own, many of the other greedy LUNC holders would be laughing at us like pic related
I’m saying we all need to get past that greed as a community and try something different. We don’t need to compete and compare, we need to work together against this excess supply. There's a reason why I kept saying "we" throughout my earlier posts
LUNC is on 350k watchlists according to coingecko. Imagine if just 10% of that, 35,000 LUNC holders decided to use $60 that they would have blown on Uber Eats and instead buy-&-burn 1 million LUNC at current price, that’s 35 billion LUNC burned which gets all of our initial stacks a little closer to being worth millions. Now imagine that being done monthly for a year, that’s around 420 billion LUNC burned, nearly half a trillion (assuming the price remained stable). Imagine if we had been doing that for the past year all while the bad news and the grifting kept happening, morale would be much higher now because if nothing else at least the burns would look much more promising
We need to start thinking like this and working together instead of just waiting for CZ and random devs to make us rich
