What the fuck do I do lads. Here is my situation. A few weeks ago when the Dow dropped 1000 points in a day I made the decision to sell most of my stocks. Stupidly I held onto my oil stocks lmao. Basically I had 3500 put into a mutual fund 7 years ago at my boomer father's behest (safe conservative investment son) and it was worth 5k when I cashed out. I could've got another 2k from the oil but it was down from peak in january so I listened to boomer father and held. Now it's like 70 bucks a share, could've sold at 100.

Anyway here is where the real retardation on my end kicks in. So after I cashed out I made the decision to start investing again in crypto. I found what I thought was a promising altcoin and bought in around 32 cents. Just a little bit though, it kept going up and up and a couple weekend ago went over 55 cents while I was sleeping. Then it started to dip a little bit. I thought for sure this shitcoin would go to a dollar soon so last thursday I dumped literally like 3,500 dollars into it. And obviously on thursday everything fucking dumped. My only saving grace is I threw another 500 at Litecoin when it was 30 bucks. So at least I'm still slightly profitable on that trade.

Altogether though my $5,000 I cashed out is probably worth about maybe 2700 right now at best. Part of me wants to sell so I don't get completely just'd, but I am also still overall bullish on cryptos during this downturn. It just everything literally dumped the day I bought.

I hadn't even been into crypto since 2017-18 when Iost 2 grand on poor trades and shitcoins. It's like whenever I decide to get into the market it becomes extremely volatile and turns to shit.
