I'm a high school senior and I have convinced two of my friends to try a business venture with me during the summer. We are going to make an Android app (don't know what yet). They are much better programmers than me, but I will manage the project and help with aesthetics, sound and some of the coding. These guys lack the motivation to try alone.

I can tell that millions of people have already tried this shit and failed and we almost certainly won't get any money. If you have been a part of these kind of projects before, tell me, what went wrong and why did they fail? Is this a total waste of time or will this help me get better at business management and maybe lead to something better to move on to?
