positive PR for helping revitalize a previously top-5 coin that died not from its own technical shortcomings but an outsider attack. furthermore, volume will be massive and cexes profit from that to a huge degree. finally (and this is the part that fudders always ignore), cexes are buying huge amounts of LUNC right now, in the billions of coins. this latest price action over the past week has been mostly exchanges stocking up on LUNC, not so much retail. the reason is that once the off-chain burn is added, an exchange that's implementing the 1.2% burn tax will just burn a portion of its stashed LUNC at market prices while pocketing the difference in money. hence the delta play for all of them. they're stocking up now on ultra-cheap LUNC so they can make extra profit from the burn tax later. it's ingenious and scummy at the same time. all the offchain burns on cexes will be basically just another levy they'll slap on transactions, and if they own billions of LUNC on the side (that they're buying right now at bargain prices) then they don't have to spend the difference on buying LUNC at current market prices as the coin starts mooning - they'll just pocket the money, and send coins from their own stash to the burn address. pic related is what every single cex is doing right now.

no, it just burns 1.2% every time you send your coins from one location to another (one wallet to another, or from wallet to exchange, or exchange back to wallet, etc.). once exchanges implement the off-chain burn then the 1.2% burn tax will be a part of buying/selling as well. you still have about 10 or so days to get into the game, price is going up rapidly every day.

yes, in theory, but Binance won't let you set your limit orders much higher or lower than the coin's current price. so if LUNC is now at .0004 you can maybe set orders up to 300% away from that (+/-), but it won't let you try to sell it for 10 cents, or 50 cents, or 1 dollar. they're cunts about that, yeah (Kraken and Kucoin have no artificial limits to their sell orders, but Binance has most of the liquidity and volume so it's still a good idea to keep a portion of your stack with them regardless of their limitations).

no. orders will execute when your price point is met. so if you want to sell 1,000,000 LUNC for $1, it'll sit there until the price reaches that. it's the whole point of limit selling - setting and forgetting, so you don't miss out on a moonshot if you're asleep or on vacation or at work or whatever.

no, they'll persist until either filled, or cancelled by you, the user.

if I were you, I'd spread out my stack across the 3 most trustworthy cexes (Binance, Kraken, Kucoin), with about 25% of my overall bag on each, and the ladders set so you don't have to keep checking in. the last remaining 25% I'd send to Terra Station and stake it until the next bullrun, LUNC could easily reach $10 by then, tho it could take 2-3 years to get there.
