it depends on how biden manages the eviction crisis.
>1. +10% homeless population=btc down hard on great depression 2.0
>2. new mmt coin pays back rent=btc crab, but never gonna happen
>3. blank check to banks and fund managers to no end=bitcoin standard, welcome to the citadel

we're in a hyper deflationary market under lockdown.
when the lock down ends, so do the moratoriums on evictions and foreclosures.

-if the fed steps up their game and bails us out of a homeless crisis, the dollar could be salvaged.
-if the fed just gives money away to investment banks to "stimulate" the economy, then this really is the "new paradigm".
-if the fed burns money while flushing out the squatters, then bitcoin is cursed. And we'll have to survive a multi decade depression.

if they chose to shred money while over 10% of the population is thrown out on the street, I'll join the communist party.

Trump doesn't matter.
Politics don't matter.
When the eviction notices are served, capitalism as we know it is over.
The fed will try to print its way out of it, but it will only split the K harder.

the deflation is real.
most wealth destroyed since the dustbowl.
60% of small businesses shutting down for good.
We can hedge against inflation, but there's nothing you can do to resist deflation.

I'm unironically optimistic that Biden will be flanked from his left and right against foreign intervention.
We really won't have the money for it anyways. This is global too, so arms sales should tank.

But I'm absolutely pessimistic that anybody has what it takes to stop the eviction/foreclosure crisis.

>mtgox melt down

anywhere between a 3rd and half the population is looking at eviction/foreclosures.
the looming homelessness crisis is far from priced in.
it could take another year, but it's coming.

Beyond screwed. Around 30 million people are about to go bankrupt in the coming months. The evictions have already begun.

What is going to happen with these evictions? Will we see millions homeless by the end of this year?

What does this mean for rent prices? For home prices?
