rather than staking to secure a network, you are staking AAVE to insure assets under management (theoretically high risk as you can lose your funds)

however AAVE is the most audited platform on defi, staking is akin to being a security guard at a preschool

Say I borrow $2000 with Link as collateral.

If Link price goes up during that time, do I owe less Link as collateral? And vice versa if it goes down?

If the APY is 5%, do I owe £100 in a year's time, if I wait a year? That interest/ yield accumulates through the year.

Any drawbacks?
