The info-graphic literally disproves everything you've said. The one guy frozen was a team member and tried to dump. The other did dump half and fled to Fork which apparently got froze. They've refunded everyone from Fork at a two to one, plus gas costs just to prevent the team member from dumping.

tl;dr - only team members with obligations to the project get frozen when they tried to instantly dump their entire stack
