I hadn't thought of target date funds. Fuck, some of my 401k's in a target date fund (though I'm still down at 5% bond alloc so maybe not worth the hassle yet to intervene). That's probably exactly where this is going to come from, other than printing. Spending constraints and tax hikes both seem like a toss up, once again that seems to come down to technical details (what can and can't be done with reconciliation vs a full act of congress). I suppose ultimately this is boomers reaping what they sowed, but I'm still worried about my parents getting dumped on, my mom was overweight cash last we talked about investing...
