Men commit more crime because there are more male idiots and sociopaths than there are female ones. Almost all violent criminals have low IQs and the IQ distribution for men is far flatter than for women, so there's like 6 times the amount morons as for women. This also applies to the other end of the distribution so there's far more male geniuses than female ones. Aggressive personality disorders are also far more common in men leading to the disparity in crime.
