Thankfully my friends all make pretty good incomes, all engineers or work real hard and save smart.

We've all kind of agreed, if anyone gets insanely wealthy, we start a cul-de-sac and build a big community center. Have a pool, gym, sauna, movie / game theater. If I made a ton I'd probably sink some money into that so all my friends can live next door to each other and raise our kids together.

They all moved away even though we stay in touch, i have some poorfag friends around me, no idea if they would beg or not. If they did beg, I'd give them a firm "not gonna happen" and if they didnt respect that I'd drop em.

Always keep hidden how much you have though. People have this mindset of "if its 1-5% of your income, it'd be fine to give away to a loved, cherished valuable friend.

"it'd be like I gave you 20$! I just need 10k! You have 5 million! cmon!"

I assume they get obsessed with 'image'. They don't just take their money and disconnect from the industry, they still participate. They spend tens of thousands a year on maintaining a 'current' wardrobe. pay for a mansion they cant possibly utilize. Appear at hot parties and events so people don't think you are losing relevance.

Then comes the part where they are actually stressing out because of this shit, and that their lives are under microscopes.

If I got as wealthy as they would, I would pull a dave chapelle. Stop talking to media, move out to bumfuck nowhere, get a big internet connection in a decently large house, explore my passions and hobbies, and do what I can for charity.

I'm not going to hot hollywood parties 4 days a week and worried about social drama.

WOW, i graduated college in 2011 and I got like 10k in crypto, 20k in index funds, 15k in savings, and a 76k mortgage, im fucking blowing these clowns out of the water. My income isn't great, but I don't spend my money on stupid shit, and I do side hustles.
