In light of today's crypto developments. EVERY. And I do mean EVERY, single, crypto coin (except BTC) will face enforcement action by the United States SEC. This means no listing on exchanges based in the U.S. - which further means no more U.S. exchanges until they come into compliance as brokerages, or by foreign exchanges with a nexus to the U.S. banking system (99% of all of the legitimate ones), and even further - U.S. sanctions and foreign police enforcement actions against the few "renegade" underground illegal foreign exchanges which remain and deal in currency that passes through U.S. clearing house banks (all currency on earth except North Korea).

There is ONE - SINGULAR crypto currency coin (aside from BTC) that will not be affected by this because it is about to win in a court case against in the SEC through which it has a 3 year head start relatively to the rest of this joke "industry" - and that coin is XRP.

Every... Ev-er-y coin except the original Bitcoin will be subject to securities regulation in the United States.

The only exception, aside from Bitcoin as mentioned, will be XRP after they win their lawsuit or settle.

Here's the deal.... If case went to trial and Ripple WON the SEC would be hamstrung bigly in bringing suits against any other crypto firm. If Ripple LOST it wouldn't mean anything beyond this case except Ripple would be fucked and SEC could still go after whoever they wanted.

But now SEC can't take the risk. They have a lot of enforcement to do ASAP given FTX fiasco, or there will be legitimate talk on capitol hill about dissolving and restructuring the entire Commission. So what happens? SEC has to settle with Ripple, which Ripple has stated many times they will only do with prejudice withdraw of security claims by SEC against XRP... What does this mean? As of end of year XRP is the ONLY crypto that can't face SEC enforcement while literally every other crypto and exchange is going to get blanket enforcement notice to cease operations in United States.

This fact isn't lost on guys like Charles Hoskinson and other crypto commentators freaking out publicly about the prospect of a Ripple settlement because they understand the entire industry BESIDES Ripple is in the crosshairs if this settles and Ripple doesn't fight to complete trial victory. They need precedent that other crypto firms with similar structure to Ripple (all of them) can use in defense.

This why they're on Twitter crying about a Ripple settlement being the worst thing for crypto industry.

So once settlement occurs, which it will imminently, all the real money, not fraud Asian money laundering money, see's only one option to invest while literally everything else is too risky to touch. It will take U.S. Congressional legislation to put Ripple on same footing as rest of crypto to the extent they want to rein it in and kill the entire industry which would take years, but more likely Congress and banks and everyone else will realize this single company has clarity, seems legit enough, might as well be THE SINGLE REGULATED entity to funnel the dead remains of crypto into.
