Orca Gold (ORG.v, CANWF) is being negatively impacted by the severe correction in Gold. The company has to raise a significant amount of capital (over $300 Million) to build its mine. Its current market cap is only US $102 Million. With 236M shares out and the stock at C55c, I doubt the company wants to raise via equity right now. One solution is bringing in a partner. This was discussed as an option a few years ago, but not a few months ago. Now that the Gold market has turned lower my guess is the partner option is back on the table. I’m going to talk the company and share their latest thoughts eventually. I see long-term technical support at C41c to C47c. The 400-day moving average is at C45c. The stock closed at C55c. The bad news is this current market is hurting them. The good news is, if they can build the mine successfully, the stock has 10-bagger potential over the next three years.
