It’s so fucking easy to accumulate wealth. Having 300k by 30 is literal child’s play:

>gas and car shit: $300/month
>miscellaneous (gym, haircut, clothes): $150/month


So $2,500 a month for a middle class life, and any dogshit degree these days starts you off at 70k and puts you at 100k in 3-5 years. So you’re left with 30-50k left over every year after expenses, invest that for 5-7 years and you have 300-500k.

Nobody uses anything except Bitcoin. The “tech” that is supposedly going to make blockchains become pervasive technology that we use without knowing has become increasingly convoluted to the point that even the people working on the projects can’t explain them. There’s not a single useful real world application of a blockchain 15 fucking years later.

It’s still a great vehicle to scam people and make money, but I’m shocked there’s still anyone clinging on to delusions about blockchains changing the world in any meaningful way. Tens of thousands of projects started, billions upon billions of dollars spent, and not a single useful thing has come from any of it.

Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering is about to be the new hot career over the next 5-7 years.

I am a mechanical engineer and found out last week I will be receiving a 16% raise, from $80,000 to $93,000, with no increase in responsibility or workload. You might say this is low but I live in fucking Kansas. The rest of my company will be getting paltry 1-3% raises as leadership cited 2023 as a “tough year”, however their inability to retain engineers has led to a significant boost in compensation.

This is happening all over the industry. Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers have become fed up with low wages relative other career paths are are leaving their jobs or demanding raises.

The next white collar bull market is starting with these 3. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
