You are correct, but there's also only so much you can talk about speculative macro-economics and still be engaged. Most here are aware of the manipulation of PM's, the evil of the USD and Fiat currencies, and how the western debt-based system is nearing its end. You can only echo-chamber for so long before you wanna throw some new sounds in there. As an image board, people don't want to just show off their new tube of 20 more silver buffalos so might as well show something interesting.
