This strikes me as the mental equivalent of physical sedentariness. Over the last hundred years or so, the more machines we used and less physical we became, the more we needed to deliberately go to the gym or for walks to compensate (or take meds for obesity/heart disease etc). What will we need to do for our minds when AI makes it unnecessary to use them as much as before? I'm not so sure it will be a net gain to have something think for me... Put another way, which technology hasn't come with unintended side effects? What will be the side effects of this one?

I think EOY the market will be depressed, I actually think we could see everything a bit lower before a bull run post election.
