Because the rate Monero was going in 2021 was different to how it is now. Now it's been delisted and liquidity is exiting faster than it's been going in for the past 2 years which is not alike other crypto over the past year.

I didn't pay ATH's for the coin but it hasn't grown from where I did buy it
