No. The only "fancy" thing I own is a Gibson Les Paul Studio from 2010. It was $800 (leaf) at the time. They go for around $1500 clean used now. I think Gibson discontinued this model as the deal was too good. The only difference between it and a $2500 model is no maple cap and no binding. Sounds same plays same has same electronics and was made in USA.
