If latin american countries tried getting into crypto could they fix their economies, money problems/debts and stop being third world countries, realistically speaking?

like, don't get me wrong, investing on btc, memecoins, jizzlord and such, all that worked well for me sure and made a x9 but that doesn't make me a millionaire... yet.

BUT what if a country that is a shithole where the dollar has a value so high you can buy a house with just a few pennies, maybe duplicating that amount in a few days or months could impact their economy for the better.

why don't we all just buy the most shorted stock and trigger a short squeeze?
