Crookston MN is is a dying town of 7k people that's been on the decline since the 1960s. Its 100 miles from Canada, on the border of ND and MN. It has no industry in and of itself, and is a commuter town for Grand Forks, which only has a population of 60k due to the presence of The University of North Dakota and an Air Force base. The top five employers there are:

>Grand Forks AFB
>Grand Forks public schools
>LM wind power

If you think its worth it to move to Crookston, so that you can drive to Grand Forks everyday and make fiberglass turbine blades for a hair over minimum wage in order to own a 1440 sqft box in place where its buried in snow 7 months a year, you can go right ahead.
