I can tell you that it was easy for me to "time" the top
I got back into crypto in like Feb 2017 after remembering the bubble from 2013 and seeing that it had broken above $1000 again
Anyway, in around December 2017 I saw the parabolic top was close, prices growing at ridiculous rates, doubling in less than a month I think
I just waited for it to top, then sold the recovery rally (return to "normal")

It's a pretty easy and safe way to do it I think

This time around with it going to $9k looks quite like how it did when it went to $20k, but now I can't tell if there will be such a major pullback as we are still much under the ATH and everybody knows Bitcoin is not a go 2 zero kind of deal anymore
