Yeah. Say you have the 2k minimum with the 2k leverage. You don't have enough wiggle room before you get margin called to really make the extra 2k worth it because RH has crazy "volatility" restrictions espey on options. Speaking from experience. You're better off not even using it until you have more capital. Just trade cash. Speaking from experience.

Not without nasty news like a bunch of reits getting margin called or something. My read on the indexes is panic selling has ended for the moment, tons of money sitting on the sidelines unwilling to commit to positions in either direction. Most of the time that translates to melt up conditions until a level is reached where selling pressure is sufficient to scatter the cats again.
