Hey /biz/, you guys remember Request Network? Obviously it's a shitcoin, but I remember they lost their ass on a Maker loan. They longed ETH and got liquidated at $100.

The info seems to be scrubbed from the internet now though. Can anyone help me find the article? Think it was a Medium article explaining what happened.

Delved into the github and the burn contract - it's completely centralized. They control which coins get burnt when, and how fast, and it seems that it can even filter out invalid parties.

What's more, I was diving into the parse manifold of under what's generally known to be the D frequency (or F depending on your OS), and it seems like some of the values are more arbitrary than subjective?

What's more, some whales on this website keep saying they won't let it get past $0.30 until 2 years from now!

Hey /biz/, REQ holder here. Serious question, apparently PayPal is trying to "expedite cryptocurrency payments" and they filed for a patent to do this.

Does this just totally fuck up REQ's day or what? The only competitive angle REQ has is it's fees will be lower, but PayPal has a massive existing user-base and not to sound too ironic but is "normie friendly" and has "first-mover advantage".

I legitimately thought REQ was the biggest no-brainer in all of crypto, but now I'm not so sure, and the low volume on the coin might indicate that whales are woke to this?

I seriously want to hear actual opinions if possible, thanks /biz/.
