Weekly reminder that the quality of life hasn't increased, the affordability of low-quality life has while everything that actually matters, like good quality organic food, house and healthcare, keep rising as inflation rises and become less and less affordable to the average Joe.
This is what capitalism essentially does to you - it throws you a TV or a smartphone so you keep deluding yourself that it brings you technological progress and prosperity, while taking literally everything else in return through an ever-rising inflation and a constant strive to lower the quality of the product so as to lower its cost. The end goal of capitalism isn't to benefit all of society, it is to exploit the lower class as efficiently as possible while benefiting only the upper class. This will keep going on until the wall between the lower to higher class is no longer passable and 99.9% of the people have effectively been reduced to permanent inferiority - they've been finally made into a lower form of life when compared to the higher class, and those people and their genes will lag behind forever, possibly up to an extinction just like most of our primate cousins. The ruling class will have AI and neural enhancement on their side, while you will have nothing. And once capital fucks off from the outdated lower classes and focuses entirely on the lifestyle of the higher class who will own all of the wealth, you will have nothing in the literal sense.
That is when you'll finally understand that capitalism has scammed you and you were a fucking idiot to shill for it so much, but it will be too late - the higher class will be immortal while you'll most likely be extinct in a nuclear winter orchestrated by them from their safe colony on Mars.
