2/3 (okay I lied)
so they ship you exotic food and you alter the unique biome you exist as a part of. sure some things are OK within reason like dry goods and spices. but not tropical fruits and stuff. there's a reason countries don't let you travel internationally with produce
but a lot of it isn't "exotic" foods per se, rather stuff like strawberries and apples and grapes and lettuce and practically anything and everything you think of as normal. excepts what's off? what month is it right now? June in gregorian, Sol in IFC? let me ask those of you who live in temperate climates a question? are there apples at your grocery store?
>yes
(^^ I dare you to challenge this if you disagree)
okay but when do apples grow?
>september-ish
how are there apples? it's not september? where are your apples from?
>chile, california, argentina
(maybe a little different right now its a weird time summer northern hemi, winter southern hemi, but this only gets more clear as we go back to april and february and december. strawberries in december? what temperate-goer ever heard of that?
you see they ship you these abominations from around not just the country but the fucking world mate. what's that about supporting local businesses with gold and silver? EAT LOCAL, EAT SEASONAL
GET YOURSELF ONE OF THESE! --> www.etsy.com/shop/localfoodswheel <-- I'M SERIOUS!
learn how plants grow: what are biennials? don't fall for the grafting/cloning meme! <-- I'm serious there is a distinct lack of awareness about the cloning part (anytime you plant a garlic or potato or NOT SOMETHING FROM A SEED you are cloning) you are asking for G_d to smite you and your monocrop down with almighty vengeance. ever heard of the Gros Michel banana and the Panama disease? READ THIS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gros_Michel_banana
(on the note of reading and seed-awareness THIS IS REQUIRED READING !! vvvvv SEE NEXT POST
