Well, if I buy enough common stock of a company I can basically appoint whoever I want, to the board including myself. Then hire the CEO. Aside from that, when the company makes money I can have a share of the dividend. What value does a crypto create that I am able to take a part of as an owner?

>demand, utility
I understand it has a price based on market demand, that's very simple. But if you're telling me these coins are supposed to have utility, and the core value (and demand) is based on that, the price should be 0, if it's supposed to have a use-case that's not a store of highly volatile value, trading and speculation on said value - which is very circular.

This is the answer I am looking for and I agree with you. Should one of these coins actually perform its function on a large scale I can see the value off ownership and utility. However I don't see any functional largely adopted coins anywhere.
No one is using the currency coins as currency. No one is using the utility coins based on their utility. There's just a fuckton of speculation.

I miss the wolong memes. PND and DOGE were all over this board back then.

i've redone the pool listing on btctalk thread.

"
It's recommended to visit each to see more detailed stats and features on their front page, if any.
If your miner features it, remember to also setup failover pools, in case your primary pool is unavailable for a time.
The pools needing more help will be listed higher in an attempt to encourage more evenly redistributed new
incoming hashing power. The ultimate choice of who you want to mine with is yours, of course.

http://wolongsucks.tk 1% pool fee | weekly giveaway
http://poolesclosed.net 0.5% pool fee

http://pandacoin.scryptominers.com 1% pool fee
http://bamboohouse.info 0.8% pool fee

"
those creating info threads elsewhere might consider follow suit, or to keep things simple, just link to the btctalk thread as i'll periodically reorder the list, as needed.
