I know the "just be yourself" thing is just a meme, and if you're a 4/10 you likely won't ever get a 10/10 without something else factoring in (wealth, fame, huge cock, etc.), but the kernel of truth behind "just be yourself" is that if you act with confidence (and confidence can be subjective) you will attract women that you have no business attracting.

A 4/10 with no confidence won't likely attract a 6/10. A 6/10 with no confidence won't likely attract an 8 or 9/10.

Obviously confidence is key in business as well. Acting confidently is a positive signal to employers, bosses, co-workers, etc. This is all obvious stuff but YOU WILL NEVER BE CONFIDENT IF YOU FOCUS NEGATIVELY ON ALL THE FAULTS IN YOUR FACIAL ATTRACTIVENESS. You can admit your face is a 5/10 and still be confident, because you know you are 6'1" or because you know you have a 7" cock, or because you know you're a funny dude, or whatever the fuck you know you're good at. Anyways that's my theory. Confidence can come from almost anywhere, but it adds at least a point to your attraction. Confidence can always be improved, but focusing on negative aspects of your face and dwelling on them is probably not going to help you.
